New girlie!

This is Dusty. This girl came to live with me from Mike in NYC. Seems she had been sitting in a shelf for some time because she had dusty hair. this gave her her name…because I was thinking about something really super cutesy like Twinkle, or something.

It was such a lovely day yesterday. She came to lunch in the park with me.

More sunshine….and puppets!

Neglected Blythe No.1 – Honey (PWP)

Honey is a really a nerdy geeky PWP with a short bob haircut who usually wears boring jeans and tee shirts. Today, though, she’s dressed in her best Sci-fi fantasy costume. She’s off to a Gerry Anderson convention as one of the moonbase girls from UFO.

Oh…So many more neglected girls to be featured soon. I’m really enjoying all the neglected Blythe week posts! <3

Here are my belated pictures from Saturday. It was brilliant to meet Paula/Xie kitchen and her many girls. I did want to steal a few of them…one particurarly lovely Aztec and Wren!<3

We took Genevieve, Tess and Doon out to play in the garden.

I liked the 3 grils together on the fisrst couple of pictures.
I loved Doon! She kept wanting to throw hr legs up in the air. She must have some kind of yoga fetish…or maybe she just likes it! – Doing the Doon! <3

There are about two pages worth at my Flickr! They were all such lovely subjects to photograph. Me and Tess had a great day…and we got our chips and gravy from the Dancing Octopuss in Newcastel! :) It’s a very special Stoke delicacy.

You Have a Melancholic Temperament

Introspective and reflective, you think about everything and anything.
You are a soft-hearted daydreamer. You long for your ideal life.
You love silence and solitude. Everyday life is usually too chaotic for you.

Given enough time alone, it’s easy for you to find inner peace.
You tend to be spiritual, having found your own meaning of life.
Wise and patient, you can help people through difficult times.

At your worst, you brood and sulk. Your negative thoughts can trap you.
You are reserved and withdrawn. This makes it hard to connect to others.
You tend to over think small things, making decisions difficult.

– Definitely right for me at the moment!

Thank you Stephanie!
My Tweedly Twins love their new dresses. Vida and Ronnie are still talking about setting up their own little tea shop one day.

Lots more at Flikr. I took some pictures of Becky, too. I really liked this outfit on her. She wants to be a Merry Prankster.

I was tagged by Kimberley/tinyredrobot. Thanks Kim! :)

Instructions: List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in LJ along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see what they’re listening to.

1. “This Will Be Our Year” The Zombies – Love everything be these guys, so much!
2. “4th time Around” – Bob Dylan
3. “Reason to Believe” Tim Hardin
4. “Go Where you Wanna Go” Mamas & Papas..”Do what you, what you wanna do!”:)
5. “Find It” From “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls” soundtrack, very groovy!
6. “The Hum” Margot Guryan – bit obscure. Crazy song about Watergate.
7. ” I Thought of You Again” The Poppy Family

These are a few particular tracks that stick out that I know I’ve played a lot lately over & over….and lots of Gene Clark! Sorry most are really random and very old. I’ve been listening to lots more mellow singer/songwriter-y type stuff lately. Did I mention that Emmit Rhodes comes very highly recommended by me. I’m usually such a bore with Emmit Rhodes recommending him to EVERYONE I meet!
Please do check out some of the solo stuff here:
…and let me know if you like it.

I took the fabulous one to the National Film Theatre with me this evening.
Here’s Fabienne (FT) on the south bank continuing her studies of 60′s films.

She’s wearing one of the first dresses I ever made…a few years ago!
